What bins do I need?
If you are a business or organisation that doesn’t trade in food, you need just one bin for your general waste and recycling together. Using the latest technology, the waste is then processed to extract any recycling that has a sustainable market value. The balance of the waste is then processed into a high calorific fuel for industry used in place of fossil fuels, thus reducing CO2 emissions.
If you are a business trading in food, you need:
1. A general waste bin which will go direct to a waste to energy plant
2. A food waste bin which is processed at Langage Farm in Plymouth to extract gas generating power, with the bi product generated being an excellent fertiliser
3. A recycling bin for tins, card, paper and rigid plastics that we extract for recycling too
Heavy glass usage? Some clients will also need a glass bin service which is processed back into recycled glass in a continuous loop in South Wales.
