It’s been a busy year so far, and the next exciting event on the DCW calendar is the Devon Education Services Sustainability Conference at Sandy Park on 27th November 2025.
This inspiring conference will help attendees grow their understanding of climate adaptation and how it relates to the education sector, while also showing them how to develop and implement an effective climate action plan for their school.
Supporting schools on their sustainability journey
The DCW team have booked our stand and will be on hand throughout the day to talk to attendees about how they can make their school more sustainable. With years of experience supporting schools across Devon in reducing waste, increasing recycling, and improving resource efficiency, we’re always happy to share our knowledge and practical advice.
As part of our exhibition, we’ll also be sharing STEM resources for schools through our parent company, SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, helping teachers inspire the next generation of sustainability champions.
And, to celebrate the conference being held at Sandy Park, everyone who visits our stand will have the chance to enter a draw to win two tickets to an Exeter Chiefs home game!
Inspiring speakers and interactive workshops
The conference features two keynote speakers:
- Tim Stone, Delivery Manager, Climate Action Team, Department for Education
- Tom Pether, Sustainability and Climate Lead for Education South West Trust and South West Lead for the Ministry of Eco-Education
Designed specifically for school leaders, teachers, facilities managers, and sustainability coordinators, the event promises a day of insight, collaboration, and practical learning. With interactive workshops covering everything from reducing carbon emissions to embedding sustainability in the curriculum, attendees will leave feeling inspired and equipped to take meaningful action in their schools.
